Terms of Service

Last Updated: 04.01.2025

These Terms of Service govern the use of the EdMe educational platform provided by BFB LTD (HE 482961) and form a legally binding agreement with you under the laws of Cyprus.

1. General Provisions & Applicable Law

EdMe operates from Cyprus and is regulated by Cyprus Contract Law (Cap.149), the Consumer Rights Law of 2013 (Law 133(I)/2013) and other mandatory EU legislation. By creating an account or using any service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or act with parental consent if aged 16–17), have read these Terms, and accept that any local mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. Platform Usage, Accounts and Payments

You must provide accurate information, protect your login details, avoid misusing AI tools and comply with all applicable Cyprus and EU laws. Subscription fees are payable in euros through the payment partners listed on the website. If you are a consumer residing in the EU/EEA you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days under Law 133(I)/2013 unless you have already requested immediate provision of digital content or individual mentoring.

3. Intellectual Property and User Content

All course materials, software, trademarks and AI models remain the exclusive property of BFB LTD or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to access the platform for personal learning purposes. You may not copy, resell or create derivative works without prior written permission. By uploading assignments or feedback you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and use that content solely to deliver the services.

4. Service Level, Liability and Disclaimers

We provide mentoring, AI assistance and career guidance with reasonable skill and care, yet education results and employment outcomes depend on your efforts. To the maximum extent permitted by Cyprus law we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of income or data and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the previous twelve months, except in cases of fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

5. Changes, Termination and Dispute Resolution

We may update these Terms or the services to reflect regulatory requirements or product improvements. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance via the platform or email. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support; we may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Disputes should first be resolved amicably within 30 days. If no agreement is reached, the courts of Cyprus (District Court of Limassol) have exclusive jurisdiction, and consumers may also submit complaints to the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service.
